fish bait ball

the swedish sport fishing association presents big one! i've found ten so far. a freewater pictures production during one full year we've been following the common fish in swedish water. a fish spread out all over the country. from north to south, from east to west. this is the fish which brings back memories from childhood. those warm summer nights in august, or windblown days out on the ice, during winter holidays. beautiful memories we want to share with our next of kin. but we can't take our coast, rivers or lakes for granted. humans have had a negative impact on life beneath the surface for a long time now. if this persists, our memories might stay just that, memories. sweden's most fish this is the story about swedish sport fishing association and it's work towards lots of fish in healthy water. biologists lars and tobias are passionate about fishing and fish management. come along on this journey where we take a closer look at sweden's most fish, the

so today we're making the mixed media rat.this is an example of what one could look like, but these are all going to have yourown personal touch on them, with additional mixed media that we can add. and, i'll goover what some of those options are. they can be different sizes, different shapes.they'll all come out a little bit differently. these are good for ages three and up, prettymuch five and up, if they're going to do it on their own. and there are a couple stepsin the process that might need a little bit of parent help or supervision. the paintingprocess is a part that the child can do, all on their own. and, they're really pretty durable.they're best put on a shelf. they can be a little breakable, so we want to be carefulthrough out the process. and they're, they're great little rats. they could be also a mouse, depends on, on how you want to see it. the mixed media adds a little bit of flair andcolor for our art project. it's also nice to e

we're ready to start constructing the bodyand what we're going to do is we're going to take the black pipe cleaners and we'regoing to make the general shape of the fish. depending on how big you want to make yourfish, if you want to make one about this size we're going to use two for the general shapeof the body. we do that by twisting these together wrapping them all the way around.we want to avoid any excess of the pipe cleaners, and if there is a lot of excess we'll justtrim that off with a pair of scissors. and then we're going to bring it around and wrap it again. i think this makes a goodshape and size for the body so i'm going to stop it there and cut those extra pieces offso that we can attach the tail, fins and other parts. so this is going to be our head andthis is going to continue back to the tail area. you just want to shape it out in caseit's not real rounded in the way that you want and that'll give us the body.

hey its jim mueller with the american outdoorsmanreport the key to finding a great fishing spot is understanding underwater structure a ao pro staffer mark tobin explains what that is and what to look for now tell me about this this is just a point this is a long part that eventually runs out all the way to the creek channel about 200 yards off the bank generally the best structure and when i talk structure im talking underwater things like points or humps creek channels that type of thing the best structure the best points are the ones that go all the way from the shallow water all the way out to the deep water that is a prim example of something to look for and its not just on this lake any lake you look for a point like this that goes all the way out to the deep water and its going to be allot better then a point that doesn't reach all the way back out to that deep water every once in awhile that underwater structure can get you into allot of trouble and a lot more than a b

today, we're going to talk a little bitabout one of the most commonly used rigs for putting bait on the bottom. this isused in freshwater, its used in saltwater, shallow-water, deep-water, it's very universal.it is called a slip-lead rig, some people call it a fish-finder rig. the concept is, you want to place your bait on the bottom and you want to have some flexibility for a small baitfish to swim around and look natural the way you rig this is from your main linethe first thing you would do is slide on a sliding sinker. then, attach using abasic twist knot, a swivel to the other side of the swivel you would attach apiece of monofilament or fluorocarbon leader material. fluorocarbon is actually idealbecause it is extremely clear underwater and in other words the fish can't see itand it also has better abrasion resistance than normal monofilament line.and then your hook or your jig or whatever your terminal tackle might be in thesituation and like said this is a great
