hey its jim mueller with the american outdoorsmanreport the key to finding a great fishing spot is understanding underwater structure a ao pro staffer mark tobin explains what that is and what to look for now tell me about this this is just a point
this is a long part that eventually runs out all the way to the creek channel about 200 yards off the bank generally the best structure and when i talk structure im talking underwater things like
points or humps creek channels that type of thing the best structure the best points are the ones that go all the way from the shallow water all the way out to the deep water that is a prim example of something to look for and its not just on this lake any lake you look for a point like this that goes all the way out to the deep water and its going to be allot better then a point that doesn't reach all the way back out to that deep water every once in awhile that underwater structure can get you into allot of
trouble and a lot more than a bargain for mark tobin show that persistence pays off there he is oh its hung up feels like a decent fish what's landed oh there's just no way ill get this fish
come on baby oh boy got down there and got wrapped smart fish oh can you believe that i tell you what well you aint so smart after all are ya was a good thing i had that hook good now that fish just wanted to get his picture taken wow well ill let you go after that sweet heart
if that were me i would have never seen that fish again i would have either cut the line or broke that pole in half great job mark i'm jim mueller that's your americanoutdoorsman report and remember you are the american outdoorsman
